Adventure Dinner: Tailgate

Foliage tailgate party at the top of a mountain? Yes, please! We took over a mountain summer camp—as an in-person “tailgate” party—and experienced peak fall color with a picnic!

Guests headed to the mountains, climbed up the curvy mountain roads to Lincoln, watched as the trees transitioned from green to swirls of bright yellow, ruby red and vibrant orange. We camped out at the top, waiting with a packaged feast of fall treats and drinks, and a map for an adventurous afternoon in the woods.

Guests grabbed their pandemic pod and discovered three stations around the camp, each holding a fall farm-to-table course and paired cocktail (including our killer version of a hot toddy). All three packaged pairings were collected and convened at the great lawn for a socially-distant “tailgate” picnic party, with a special Adventure Dinner prize for the best tailgate set-up!

* As Tailgate took place during the COVID-19 pandemic, it was a hybrid picnic-style, pick up event.
