We sun-worshiped with the ultimate ray of sunshine, Chef Breana Killeen of Killeen Crossroads Farm!

Chef James Kitchens (Adventure Dinner) and Chef Breana Lai Killeen (Killeen Farm) hosted a 4-course ode to their Chinese and Filipino heritage using the Asian vegetables, eggs, and chickens raised on the farm. Guests were treated to a multi-course meal paired with cocktails and wine as they sauntered through this beautiful property in Shelburne.

The night kicked off with a refreshing aperitivo cocktail served from a 1974 Toyota Land Cruiser turned bar–a perfect sip to have in hand as we toured the fields, learning about the innovative and sustainable agricultural practices the Killeens use for raising chickens, cows, veggies and fruit. 

For dinner, we headed down to an open-air kitchen for a feast cooked over open flames. Each course was paired with drinks that took us on a journey through the homestyle Asian cooking that set a culinary foundation for both our Chefs. A table-to-farm feast we’ll dream about until winter.

We ended our adventure with dessert on the farmhouse porch and patio, lingering in the golden hour rays—a perfect end to a summer solstice celebration.
