Private Event Sales Teammate Overview

Adventure Dinner is seeking a Private Event Sales team member to join our crew! This is a 20-25 hour a week, in-person role with flexibility for partial remote work once established in the role.

How We Work

Adventure Dinner believes great events come from people who care deeply about food, hospitality, and each other. Our mission is to support Vermont farms, producers and other small businesses, and we put that in action as we create immersive farm dinners, celebrations, and open-fire culinary experiences across Vermont.

Our company culture values communication, teamwork, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed. The small but mighty Adventure Dinner sales team thrives on creativity, collaboration, and genuine care for our clients.

What You’d Do

Adventure Dinner is growing–and we want you to help us! You’d be collaborating with the team to manage client inquiries, book private functions, and coordinate all the fun details with our catering and operations teams. Broadly, your role would entail:

Sales & Booking: Respond to in-bound inquiries, conduct Clubhouse tours, manage partnerships with venues and farms, and be a strong voice in the strategic growth of the private sales department

Client Management: Shepard our clients through the private event booking process from initial contact to post-event processes.

Internal Event Coordination: Be the conduit between clients and our team, creating custom menus, communicating event timelines, tracking unique notes and drafting pack lists.

Administrative Tracking: Maintain accurate booking calendars, manage CRM tools, and track sales metrics against targets.

  • Passion for hospitality, food, and/or cooking

  • 1-3 years sales experience (event sales experience preferred)

  • Agility in Google Docs and CRM systems

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as emotional awareness
