Tomatini Girl Summer

Tomato Girlies unite—we’re seeing our favorite fruit in pop-up summer salads, grill-able sides, and most importantly, in your martini glass.

This pink drink is the perfect foil to the sweet treats of summer—a slightly salty, cold-as-we-can-take-it martini lightened with a swirl of juicy drips from a freshly sliced tomato. A strawberry powder + black pepper keeps it unexpected and delicious, just how we like our…drinks. ;)

TOMATINI

Gently Muddle 1-2 cherry tomatoes into your stir glass.

Then add:

1.5 oz Sipsmith London Dry Gin

1/2 oz Dolin Dry

1/2 oz Lillet Blanc

1/4 oz Elderflower

1 drop Saline (or small pinch salt)

1 dash Regan's Orange Bitters

Add ice, stir well (or shake if you're ~*FrEe SpiRiTed*~) strain and serve in a coupe rimmed with Dehydrated Strawberry Dust and Black Pepper. Express lemon peel oil over top, toss peel.

No Strawberry dust? Dip a strawberry or a cherry tomato in honey and then in black paper, take a bite before you sip!
